The warm and inviting atmosphere at Borough Court was one of the highlights of my trip. The beautifully maintained historical property, surrounded by peaceful gardens, created a luxurious and peaceful retreat. The attention to detail was exceptional, from the quality linen to the individually designed bedrooms. The hosts, Sophie and Ed, went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. I especially loved spending an evening by the fire with a drink and waking up to one of the best breakfasts I've ever had in a beautiful dining room. This unique property is highly recommended for those seeking luxury and peace in the countryside. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly exceptional and memorable experience.

The hotel is located in a beautiful mansion with stunning grounds, providing a grand yet cozy atmosphere. the room was spacious and had a ridiculously comfortable and soft bed. the bathroom was well-appointed with two huge handbasins and a bath. the service was warm and welcoming, with a nice fire and complementary drink upon arrival. the breakfast was delicious, with a pot of fresh coffee, warmed croissants, and a full English.
The signage and reception area could have been better marked for ease of finding.

Upon arrival at Borough Court, I was warmly greeted by the owner, who quickly apologized for her momentary absence. Although there was a slight confusion about the entrance, I soon found my way to the stunning mansion. The enormous room I stayed in was beautifully decorated and boasted a comfortable bed with a great view. The bathroom, while not en-suite, was conveniently located near the bedroom. The grounds of Borough Court were simply breathtaking, and I couldn't help but imagine spending more time exploring them. In the morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast that exceeded my expectations. Despite the lack of a TV in the room, I found plenty of ways to relax and make myself at home. I had a wonderful stay at Borough Court and would highly recommend it to others.

Our stay was only for one night, and we wished we could have stayed longer to fully enjoy the experience.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a great variety of delicious options to choose from. the hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home.
It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room for convenience, as we didn't have access to them until the morning. the lack of a TV meant that there weren't many options for entertainment during our downtime.
